Introduction

The rise of illegal logging in Aceh is making forests increasingly denuded, this will certainly trigger ecological damage such as floods and landslides. because the few trees in the forest will not be able to absorb rainwater. Therefore, there is a need for prevention with program schemes that have a direct impact on society in economic and environmental conservation aspects. Introduction During 2018 the area of Aceh's forest cover shrank by 15,071 hectares, while in 2017 the forest cover lost was 17,820 hectares. Thus, Aceh's forest cover currently remains at 3,004,532 hectares. Forest conversion and illegal logging are the main triggers for forest destruction. Program planning is carried out in 6 locations that have the potential to be ecologically damaged, therefore there is a need for recovery through an agroforestry program which will have an economic impact on the communities involved. History

The Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) LEUSER HIJAU LESTARI was founded on the basis of millennial awareness of how important it is to protect and care for a better environment. Based on the problems that often occur regarding environmental issues in the Aceh region, starting from forest destruction and loss of existing biodiversity, these young people are determined to serve and work to carry out conservation, preservation and restoration in areas that are starting to be damaged. LEUSER HIJAU LESTARI NGO was founded on 27 -04-2017. With the hope that in the future it can become a representative institution and partner of all groups in protecting and preserving the environment. LEUSER HIJAU LESTARI Works closely with grass roots communities, so that environmental protection and care can be applied directly through sustainable programs. The big output of the LEUSER HIJAU LESTARI NGO is to maintain the state of the climate which is now starting to deteriorate due to the unsustainable activities of several interests which are destroying the state of the Natural Ecosystem.
